The state of Maharashtra is famous for its unique traditional jewellery pieces like Thushi haar, gundla haar, Kolhapuri Saaj, Nath, Tode bangles and more. Putali Haar is also one among the traditional jewellery of Kolhapur and Goddess Lakshmi is mainly embellished on the coin motifs that are used to form the neckpiece. The motifs are joined either using red beads, black beads or gold beads.
