Kapil Sharma known for his witty comedy is a household name in India and needs no introduction. The stand up comedian who has been hosting and running comedy shows for years got hitched to his long time girlfriend Ginni Chatrath in accordance with Hindu and Sikh traditions. Kapil’s wedding was held at Jalandhar which was attended by close relatives and few celebrities followed by a lavish reception event at Mumbai which was attended by who’s who of celebrities.

Pre Wedding events
Kapil Sharma who got married in both Hindu and Sikh ceremony weddings had a series of pre-wedding events like the mata ki chowki pooja, mehendi, haldi ceremony and dinner party to name a few. Here we present some pics of the couple from their pre wedding bash .
Ginni wore yellow suit for her mehendi event with a neckpiece, big hoop earrings and floral maang tikka. She danced the sangeeth night before the wedding in pastel green lehenga with wrist full of colorful bangles and uncut diamond necklace.
Ginni was see in in orange sharara suit and traditional gold temple jewellery which included annapakshi style gold jhumkas, lakshmi pendant gold choker necklace and long temple jewelry.
Wedding and Reception events
The wedding ceremony took place according to both Hindu and Sikh traditions. The couple looked regal in their attire which was designed by Rimple and Harpreet for many events. Ritu and Carma India also designed the bridal outfits for few events. The couple’s beautiful jewellery collection was maintained by Anmol Jewellers and Fooljhadi.
Kapil Sharma looked royal in his green sherwani with customary sword and emerald jewellery. Ginni looked resplendent in heavy stone work red lehenga with emerald polki choker, emerald necklace, elaborate maang tikka, big nose ring, traditional red chooras with Kalires and chandbali jhumka earrings.
Kapil was all smiles in gold word velvet sherwani while Ginni happily posed in gold lehenga with maang tikka, choker, long earrings, passa jewellery and fashionable diamond mangalsutra.
Finally, the couple hosted a lavish reception in Mumbai which was attended by many sports and Bollywood celebrities. Kapil looked dapper in all black and Ginni looked chic in shimmering gown and diamond necklace.
